Executive leader with 25 years of experience in leading design, development and construction projects within a wide array of industries, in addition to articulating and executing strategic objectives of various companies. As a frontline leader over the last decade, Omar’s success has been based on good governance, fostering of ideal working environments and leading positive change.

Prior to joining DHB, Omar served in the role of Chief Projects Officer at Meraas Holding and Engineers Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum for over 13 years. He led various residential and mixed used developments that have changed the urban landscape of Dubai. Some of such projects are City Walk, The Beach, Nikki Beach Residences and Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Blue Waters that includes the Caesars Palace Hotels, La Mer including the luxurious residential waterfront development, Port De La Mer and Bvlgari Resort & Residences is statement of style situated on a private island off the coast of Dubai. The island project also includes various dining and leisure offerings Apart from the above commercial projects, Omar managed several projects for the Royal Family and several Government entities that included various affordable housing projects, villa developments funded by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and various palatial and luxury houses around the world.

Omar is the Chief Executive Officer of the DHB Group, and his primary role is to promote a customer centric approach across all projects while managing efficiency and quality of delivery.
